We've had 17 great years on these dates and the wind has always been great.
The deal (for now…price is subject to change) is $749 double occupancy (or $1185 single, $885 non windsurf) for non ocean view which includes 7 nights in an efficiency apartment complete with A/C, fridge, microwave, board and sail rental. Ocean view rooms are available at $950 double occupancy (or $1620 single). For Kitesurfers, deduct $300 from above rates if you don't need windsurf gear.
Airfare is extra and I've heard of fares from $299 and up.
I need a $200 deposit to save your spot by April 10 and full payment by May 10. I can book you after May 10 but without deposits the resort starts to give up rooms. This is a very popular week, so please get it scheduled now.
Proof of citizenship is required with a valid passport.
Cancellation penalties of $50 per unit apply as of April 10, $200 on or after May 4 and 1/2 of trip amount on or after June 1.
By the way we don't just windsurf and kitesurf. The diving, sightseeing, gambling, horseback riding, dancing, boating and more is a ton of fun. We will organize some group trips, usually for diving, dancing, video night dinner, final night dinner and maybe even a BBQ at the resort. If you just want to sit around the pool or hot tub, thats OK too.
I do recommend renting a car, and sharing with others is always a good deal. Cars are from $169 a week, so split between 3 or 4, it's very reasonable. I can make those reservations for you.
For food, the grocery store is a 10 minute drive. We buy perishables there and I usually bring some canned meats with us for cheap lunches. The resort does have a sandwich board for lunches that need to be ordered in the morning. You can cook in the room or BBQ out front, but if you like to eat out, it's usually about $25 each depending on how much you like to drink. There is a Wendy's, and McDonalds close by too.
We look forward to having the best year ever! I can book you on dates other than the 15th-22th. We have 10 day and 2 week rates also or any day of the year.
Some flight information for your reference are American from Tampa, flight 1984 leaves at 6 AM to Miami and 10:47 AM to Aruba arrives 2:05 PM. There is also an evening flight 749 1318 leaves 5:50 PM arrives 11:25 PM. Spirit Air has Saturday to Saturday fares we have seen from $300 out of Tampa.
